Guide Dog Harness
Here is the guide dog harness that I use everyday.
Sport Harness
Its simple construction, lightweight design and easy fastening handle make this an attractive alternative. It is constructed with heavy nylon webbing and heavy duty hardware. The girth strap goes around the dog right behind the front legs. The top of this strap is 2 inches wide. The side release buckle is located right behind the right elbow of the dog, which is used to fasten the harness. The girth strap is adjustable with a tri-glide mechanism. There are shoulder straps that go over the dog from the top of the girth strap to the front of the dog at the breastbone. A martingale strap runs from the shoulder straps in front, between the dog's front legs and threads through the girth strap. The front of the harness looks like the print letter "Y". A D ring accessory attachment point is located on the top of the back strap. The handle attaches on the top of the shoulder straps, similar to the British style harness. There are side release buckles which can be used to attach the handle to the harness. Metal hardware is available upon request. This style of harness provides total freedom of movement for the dog. It is available in red, royal blue, grape purple, black or burgundy. The two inch wide back strap is always black.
Guide Harness Handle
Guide dog harness handles are made from PVC and nylon webbing. They are lightweight, rigid and durable. All handles are black. Straight handles are available in lengths from 8 inches to 22 inches. Offset handles are available in lengths from 12 inches to 22 inches. All handles are available with your choice of metal hardware or plastic side release buckles.
Standard Guide Dog Harness
The Standard Guide harness is very similar to the typical American style harness. The girth strap goes around the dog, right behind the front legs. It fastens with a side release buckle. The top of this strap, the part that goes over the dog’s back, is two inches wide. There is a one inch wide strap that connects to the back strap and goes across the front of the dog. A martingale can be added that connects to the middle of the chest strap, threads between the dog’s front legs to connect to the girth strap. The harness handle connects to the chest strap at the side of the shoulder. There are stabilizer loops on the back strap that hold the harness handle in place. There is also an extra D ring on the top of the back strap as an additional attachment point for accessories. This harness is made from heavy nylon webbing with either plastic or metal hardware. It is available in red, royal blue, grape purple, black or burgundy. The two inch wide back strap is always black.
Measurements
In order to customize the harness to fit your dog I need to have the following measurements:
Girth: Around the widest part of the dog right behind the front legs.
Sternum: From the top of the shoulder blades to the top of the breastbone located at the base of the dogs neck.
Height: The height of the dog at the top of the shoulder blades.
Weight: The weight of the dog.
Breed: The breed of the dog.

However, if the problem was due to incorrect information such as, measurements, or individual modifications which were not discussed during the ordering process buy the purchaser, there will be a charge based on the amount of changes/modifications needed.
